We are improving Alter 2 to make it one of the best software for handling your meetings. Here's what's new:
Work across any meeting software, browsers included
Nudge you to record your meetings for transcription
Create your meeting report with actionable steps
Some cool news from our Discord community - you suggested having a live meeting coach, and we love it! It fits perfectly with our vision of an AI assistant aware of what's happening on your Mac.
Quick heads up - Alter got smarter at recognizing important stuff from your active apps (like people names, organizations, events) making your transcriptions more accurate. This neat feature is enabled when using our cloud processor.
We've also added smart notifications that suggest actions based on what you're doing:
Record a transcription when Alter thinks you're in a meeting
Generate a meeting report when you stop a long audio record
Summarize YouTube video when you watch a video

P.S. Privacy matters. By default, transcriptions are processed in the cloud and your data isn't used for training. For even greater confidentiality, you can switch to local processing. While this may be less accurate, it ensures 100% confidentiality.
