Scheduled Tasks allows you to automate any Alter Action to run on a predetermined schedule – hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. Your AI assistant becomes your personal scheduler, delivering insights and completing actions at precisely the right moment.

Introducing Morning Briefing – a built-in Alter Action that revolutionizes how you start your workday:

How to Set Up Scheduled Tasks

  1. Open the Alter Action Editor from your menu bar or using the shortcut cmd+shift+E

  2. Select or create an action

  3. Click on “Add Schedule” in General table

  4. Choose your frequency: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly

  5. Set your preferred time

  6. Add multiple schedules for the same action if needed

  1. Weekly Team Standup Summary Automatically compile a summary of your completed tasks, in-progress work, and blockers every Friday at 4 PM. The action gathers information from your calendar, emails, and project management tools to generate a ready-to-share standup report that you can paste directly into your team communication channel.
