Repurpose content with Alter: A step-by-step guide
Warning: May contain traces of human creativity and AI assistance
Hey everyone,
I want to share how I've been using Alter in my content creation process for my newsletter, Modern Chaos. Watch the short Youtube video to learn how to do it yourself.
My current workflow:
I jot down notes on my phone throughout the week
Pick the most compelling topic from these notes
Use Alter to generate a draft, drawing from my notes and past issues
Manually edit and refine the content
Ask Alter to review it, considering my tech-enthusiast audience
Use Alter's "Cut Filler Words" feature to improve the flow
One cool aspect is how Alter helps me repurpose content. My newsletter is in English, but my LinkedIn network is mostly French. Alter can transform my newsletter into a French LinkedIn post or even a Twitter thread. It's also handy for converting content into slides if I have a talk coming up.
It's important to note that while sometimes the AI output is surprisingly good, I always treat it as a draft to start from, not a final product. The goal is to enhance my process, not replace my voice.
Video:
To next week!
Sam
P.S. Let me know what videos should I record next to help you with Alter by sending me an email to [email protected]!
