Search, filter, and find faster

Hey everyone,

This week, we’re releasing several quality-of-life improvements that make it easier to find information, navigate long conversations, and keep your Hub organized.

Search inside any conversation

You can now search directly inside the conversation you have open.

Press Command-F in a Hub or QuickHub conversation, then enter a word or phrase. Alter highlights every match and shows how many results were found.

You can move between matches using the controls in the search bar or these shortcuts:

• Command-G moves to the next match

• Shift-Command-G moves to the previous match

Since Command-F now searches the current conversation, Search All Conversations has moved to Shift-Command-F.

Navigate long Hub conversations

Long conversations are also easier to move through.

Hub conversations now include a navigation rail with one marker for each of your turns. Hover over a marker to preview that part of the conversation, or click it to jump directly to the message.

As you scroll, the rail follows your position so you can quickly see where you are in the conversation.

Filter your conversation history

The Hub sidebar now includes a Filter Conversations menu.

You can narrow your history using four groups:

• Conversation type: Chats or transcripts

• Workspaces: Specific workspaces or conversations without a workspace

• Actions: Specific actions, other actions, or conversations without an action

• Tags: Specific tags or conversations without a tag

You can combine multiple filters, and the filter button shows how many are currently active. Select Reset whenever you want to return to the complete list.

We’ve also refined filters in the Action Editor. Active filters are now easier to see and clear, and folder filters include All and None controls for changing the entire selection at once.

• Conversation view: Tool-call glimmer is consistent; the conversation stays above the composer.

• Transcription: Imported audio persists more reliably.

• Meetings: Context is not sent when there is no transcript file.
