Subagents are here + Code w/ Claude
Alter now spin up subagents to help you do more complex tasks in a more efficient way
Hey everyone,
We are excited to announce Tasks, our new dynamic subagent system, and the launch of the OpenCollider framework.
Tasks: Multi-step Workflows
Tasks are dynamic, focused sub-agents you can spin up for specific jobs.
Whenever a task becomes too complex for a single agent, Alter will now start subagents and delegates tasks.
Subagents are designed to delegate independent parts of a request whenever you require to investigate, compare, extract, summarize, check, execute code, manipulate files, or complete any self-contained work with clear context.
Test Tasks now
Create two subagents to search for the latest information about the French squad and the English squad at the 2026 World Cup.

OpenCollider: Brainstorming Reimagined
To demonstrate the power of Tasks, we’ve built an Action based on the OpenCollider framework, created by Cédric Lion.
OpenCollider is designed to generate ideas that are rich and original, avoiding the "flat" feel of standard AI output. It follows a rigorous process:
Builds a brief
Explores domains
Generates collision ideas
Judges and corrects them
Iterates based on your feedback
This structure turns AI interaction into a genuine brainstorming session where you choose the strongest ideas to develop further.
Alter at the Code w/ Claude conference
