Hey everyone,

This week, something we shipped early became real because of you.

QuickHub was a preview. You gave feedback, found bugs, and pushed the product forward. This week that turned into automatic screen context, snap QuickHub to any window and it loads what's on your screen instantly. Screenshot and accessibility data, no prompts, no copy-paste.

This is what happens when you build in public!

The roadmap isn't ours. It's ours.

Switch between the Notch and the QuickHub during your day

Enable QuickHub Mode in Settings. The notch isn't going anywhere, this is your choice, and we want you to have time to explore.

But we think playing with it is a great way to see what works, what doesn’t before we shut down the notch entirely.

  • "Add to Alter" / Finder: Restored adding content to QuickHub as well as the main app.

  • Audio & microphone: Fixed empty meeting recordings; clearer error surfacing; preserved failed meeting audio for recovery; cleared stale transcription failure indicators.

  • Menubar & notch: Quit handling across custom windows; menubar quit button; meeting recording state synced with the meeting controls aligned to the menubar.

  • MCP & auth: Ephemeral loopback for OAuth and token refresh; deferred remote MCP startup for login-item launches; simpler remote MCP success page; authentication checks on schedule jobs and across views.

  • Settings & usage: Clamped max tokens to 8192 in manage settings; duplicate Settings menu entry removed; delete confirmations aligned between Hub and Quick Hub; window-relative delete alerts where possible.
