👋 Hey there!

Remember when we introduced voice commands to chat with your apps? That was just the beginning.

Today, we're taking it to the next level. You can now select any text and use voice commands to transform it instantly.

✨ What's new:

  • Select text anywhere

  • Speak your command

  • Watch it transform

Try these magic words:

"Rewrite in friendly tone"
"Create counter arguments"
"Add my thoughts: …"

Plus, for our keyboard ninjas, we added support to the context list:

  • Arrow keys to navigate

  • Enter to open

  • Return to remove

  • Space to multi-select

  • CMD+J to create a workspace with the selection

  • CMD+K to clear the context list

💡 Pro tip: Right-click any selection in the Finder and choose "Add to Alter" from the services - it will open the notch and add the selection as context. What’s exciting is that you can setup a keyboard shortcut from the macOS services settings!

Coming soon: We're making models accessible from the main input to enable favorites and quick access (shoutout to @nathanredblur from our Discord for this great suggestion! 🙌)
